Micro Update: IE8 and In-Page Sorting

31 Mar

Resolved issue with IE8 users not being able to save font preference between page views.

Fixed

  • IE8 browsers not preserving settings in the fontastic panel.
  • In-Page table sorting for some pages within the user admin area.

I’d think sorting out the email issues is a slightly higher priority than sorting out IE8 and in-page sorting issues.

Any chance of an update in the form of a blog entry in reference to the ongoing alert email issues with various email providers which only occured when the alert email system (which was not broke to be begin with) was altered.

    Thanks,

I’m kinda on this dude with this- Email is a higher priority. But, because I know that there would be some people complaining about this that you guys would get this off your chests so you could work on the problem.

Oh, and Andrew, not to sound like a Grammar Nazi, but “broke” should be “broken”.

Hehe! You can’t call yourself a grammar nazi and use words like “kinda” or begin sentences with “but!” :)

Lol dude that’s just who I am. I didn’t want him to come back like “DUDE! Quit being such a NazI!!” Because it’s happened before XD

If you’re not getting your fanfiction alerts, it might be a good idea to post which email service you are using. It could help the admins narrow down the problem, since most people have reported that they’re finally getting their alerts through.

They’re using icloud. Rumor has it the system has a nasty filtering system that will cause e-mails to be completely deleted rather then sent to a persons junk mail.

Hi, I’m having some trouble logging in…

There’s no image captcha, but it’s still asking me to input one. I’ve tried refreshing the page and restarting my browser, but it still isn’t showing up.

    I’m using Chrome, version 25.0.1364.172 m.

If anyone could help me out, I’d really appreciate it! :)

    Hi

I have not received any email alerts since 11/05/2013 4:26 PM Australian Eastern Standard.

    Using Hotmail.

If the admins could see if this issue is just related to myself or system wide it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Totally unrelated to this post, but just so you know…

Is there a reason for the censorship of posts? Yeah, I know profanity doesn’t make you seem professional, (though many writers use it) but it’s a little ridiculous when it only censors certain words but not others.

I had to edit stuff so I didn’t look like an idiot with all the “$*#(@&$(%)” stuff.

    Explanation?

    Thank you for understanding.
